About SuperFox Plumbing and Electrical

SuperFox Plumbing and Electrical is an Adelaide enquiry service for plumbing, electrical and air conditioning jobs. You tell us what's going on, by phone on 08 6800 6079 or through our online form, and we pass your enquiry to one local tradesperson who covers your suburb. They call you back, talk the job through and quote before any work starts.

We started SuperFox because getting a tradie on the phone shouldn't be the hardest part of a blocked drain, a tripping safety switch or a split system that has given up in January. Directory sites often send your details to several businesses at once, and the phone doesn't stop ringing. We do it differently: your enquiry goes to one tradie, so you get one conversation and one quote.

Who we are

SuperFox is operated by JR Digital Services (ABN 15 677 761 787), an Adelaide business that runs local service websites. We are not a plumbing, electrical or air conditioning contractor, and we don't carry out the work ourselves. The work is quoted and done by an independent local tradesperson, who is responsible for their own workmanship, licensing and compliance. We think it's important you know that up front.

What we can help with

• Electrical: Switchboards, safety switches, smoke alarms, power points, lighting, ceiling fans, EV chargers and electrical faults.
• Plumbing: Blocked drains, hot water systems, leaks, burst pipes, taps and toilets, and gas fitting.
• Air conditioning: Split system and ducted air conditioning installation, servicing and repairs.

Not sure which trade you need? A hot water system can need a plumber, an electrician or both, depending on whether it's gas, electric or a heat pump. Describe the problem and we'll make sure it goes to the right kind of tradie.

How it works

1. Tell us the job. Call or send the form with your name, phone number, suburb and a short description. Add a photo of the leak, the switchboard or the unit's compliance plate if you can, as it helps the tradie understand the job before they call.
2. We pass it to one local tradie. Your enquiry goes to one tradesperson who works in your area and does that type of job.
3. They call you back. The tradie aims to call within 24–48 hours to ask any questions and arrange a time to look at the job or give you a quote.
4. You decide. There's no obligation. If the quote suits you, you deal directly with the tradie from there.

What we won't do

• We won't send your details to a list of businesses or sell them to marketers.
• We won't quote prices over the phone. Every job is different, and the tradie quotes once they understand it.
• We won't promise arrival times, ratings or credentials we can't check for you. Instead, we tell you what to ask for.

Licences and safety in South Australia

In South Australia, electrical work, plumbing and gas fitting must be carried out by appropriately licensed tradespeople, and installing or servicing air conditioners involves refrigerant handling, which needs its own licence (commonly known as ARCtick). Before you agree to any work, ask the tradie for their licence details. You can check a licence on the Consumer and Business Services (CBS) public register. Ask what compliance paperwork the job needs, too.

Where we work

We take enquiries from across greater Adelaide: the inner suburbs, the north, south, east and west, and the Adelaide Hills. Many Hills properties have rainwater tanks, pumps and septic or community wastewater systems, while older homes closer to the city often still have original wiring, ceramic fuses and clay sewer pipes.
